This group of small wooden bits and pieces are some early experimental sculptures.

I experimented with them in order see if it were possible to use harvested wood from my block on my property at Natimuk in western Victoria. The source trees having been planted in 2006.

The answer was a resounding ‘yes’ and it allowed me to establish a workflow that I later used in a large body of work entitled “Notturno – a Natimuk Narrative” in 2019.
